Will a VMware OS X Mavericks (pre-installed) work with a Linux 64 bit VMware 10 client?

It should but only if the VMware binary is patched with this and the VMware version is strictly 10.0.0. Later updates downloadable from the VMware site refuse patching at least under 64-bit Windows 7.

The OS X Mavericks VMware package/image comes with a VMware unlocker. The Linux VMware Workstation is 10.0.2.
