It seems I'm the only one that survived covid and the other members of the forum have died.
RIP everyone.

Time for a head count. If you would still like to remain a member of this forum then respond to this thread before the end of August otherwise your account will be closed.

Still here & blundering on with FUZE and RTB Basics.

Still alive and lost in the trackless wilds of the Darkest Internet, hunting for the fabled BASICs graveyard ...
-
Oh dear, still here
-
Hi, I'am alive
-
FYI:
AIR, Peter Verhas and Charles Pegge don't need to chime in as their memberships are guarenteed for a lifetime.
-
If you had emailed me a month ago I would not have been able to reply, but now I can, so I have

I hope you're doing okay. Scary times out there.

Still here

It would be a shame for this forum to lose 80% of its member base due to lost of interest in the forum.
Fact is All BASIC is better indexed in the search engines then any other BASIC forum. If you want to be heard, this is the forum to contribute to.
Google: About 7,810,000 results
Yahoo: About 444,000 results
Bing: About 578,000 results

It is a little upsetting how few responses there have been.
(Yes, that is British understatement at work).
Actually it's absolutely REDACTED diabolical.
-
I thought with covid keeping people at home more that the forum would serve as a distraction with folks getting back into programming.
There are at least a half a dozen members that have never logged into the forum. Why would anyone join and never bother to log in?
-
I am here, and I still intend to lurk freely, also after this Covid business ;)
BASIC deserves to be not only remembered but kept alive!
-
This forum hosts non-BASIC topics as well. It's original direction was to bring BASIC developers together to share ideas and concepts.
This domain also hosts the Retro BASIC/Game Forum (https://retrobasic.allbasic.info) as a read only archive.

Hello All,
I have recently joined, because I have come across John's new Scriptbasic release for Windows, which I like very much, especially the IUP library. I would like to remain to keep track of further developemnts of this in particular.

Hi Colin,
I plan to release an update for the ScriptBasic Windows 32 release. If you like the IUP extension module the VB6 ActiveX DLL portable GUI forms will make you a happy camper. I'm trying to get DLLC documented before creating the next Inno install of ScriptBasic.
Thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoy ScriptBasic.

Still kind of around here - but just footling about with stuff rather than advancing projects.
Currently working on a colour serial terminal design (VT320 compatible-ish) using a VGA Monitor and PS/2 keyboard.
Mind you, after the terminal is running, I need to build a keyboard controller, too.
-
What are you writing your terminal project in?
