Title: BBC Micro Bit
Post by: John on March 29, 2016, 06:52:49 PM
BBC Micro Bit rollout starts after six month delay - can it repeat the success of the BBC Micro in the 1980s?

Is or will there be a BASIC available for it I wonder?

I hear Microsoft donated a graphical language to the project and Python was mentioned. I tweeted one of the project directors about Script BASIC and the BBC graphics extension module I did for it in SDL. The seed is planted. Who knows what might come of it.

But is Mr BBC BASIC prepared to donate? ;)

Maybe Richard will rejoin the All BASIC forum and let us know his thoughts on the matter.
