Title: OSX Mavericks on Linux
Post by: John on May 04, 2014, 09:29:05 PM
Will a VMware OS X Mavericks (pre-installed) work with a Linux 64 bit VMware 10 client?

It should but only if the VMware binary is patched with this (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/20-vmware-unlocker-for-os-x/) and the VMware version is strictly 10.0.0. Later updates downloadable from the VMware site refuse patching at least under 64-bit Windows 7.

The OS X Mavericks VMware package/image comes with a VMware unlocker. The Linux VMware Workstation is 10.0.2.
